Blackwatch Agency, Toronto ON

In the winter of 2023, I connected with Blackwatch Agency, a North American distribution and sales agency representing unique and established British and European premium menswear brands. Blackwatch Agency was looking for a brand new digital presence, including digital strategy, a new website, digital brand design, and SEO optimization. The new Blackwatch website needed to communicate the sophisticated and high quality menswear brands that they represent, represented through the sharp black lines and darkened cover images throughout the website. Blackwatch Agency’s website also features dedicated brand pages with large bold images and dedicated brand galleries to feature the latest styles.

Sequential Balance, Toronto ON

In the summer of 2021, I worked with Jess Mann of Sequential Balance, a life and professional coaching service looking to make an online impact. Jess and I worked together to design and produce content for a minimalistic website which captured her brand vision and also communicated her services to a professional audience. As part of the project, I also designed a new logo for Sequential Balance and advised on best practices for SEO-optimized content generation to include in the journal.

Cognetic Movement, Toronto ON

In the summer of 2020 I worked with Shar Gupta, a manual osteopath and registered massage therapist looking to take her business online and create a website to represent herself. I was tasked with planning the site and recommending layouts and designs, while maintaining a minimal look and ensuring ease of use for patients. The website features a number of conversion forms to optimize form submissions, as well as a password-protected learning portal for clients and a clickable testimonial slider on the home page. Minor graphic design, copywriting, and proofing services were also provided.

Classique Decor, Oakville & Burlington ON

I was approached in the summer of 2016 to completely rebrand a home decor and furniture store in Burlington, called Classique Decor. The business has been in operation for over 28 years and was in long need of a brand overhaul. The project included redesigned business cards, a new logo, photography services, copywriting, and a new website. In early 2020, in the wake of the pandemic, I was tasked to quickly convert the website to an online storefront, enabling e-commerce, and uploading 150+ new products and gift card functionality to the website inventory. Along with the storefront upgrade, the Classique Decor website was updated with a refreshed look. I continue to work with Classique Decor with print marketing, website updates, and social media advertising.

Pro-Active Pools & Services, Oakville ON

In early 2020 I had the opportunity to work with Pro-Active Pools and Services: a pool servicing company based outside of the GTA. They were looking for a web solution for their business to act as a digital calling card and booking platform, as well as a place to advertise their recent work and display their pool packages. When they reached out, we had to start from the ground up, creating a fresh new logo from their original brand, overhauling their Google MyBusiness page, and creating a one page scroller website. In 2023, we worked together again to add online shopping/appointment booking to the website, including an e-commerce strategy and integration, along with training and post launch support.

Sahil Mirchandani (Film Portfolio), Toronto ON

In the summer of 2018 I was given the opportunity to design a film portfolio website for Sahil Mirchandani, a budding film producer in Toronto. The site was meant to be simplistic and easy to navigate. What was produced was a portfolio-focused resume site designed for other creators in the industry attempting to view his featured work and contact him quickly. In 2023, Sahil and I worked together on a redesign of his original website. I completely scrapped the home page and created a full screen landing page featuring Sahil’s film reel, along with some simple calls to action leading to his portfolio and contact info. The portfolio was completely redesigned as a blog-style summary page which will auto update as Sahil adds in new portfolio entries.

Arjun Narayanan (UX Design portfolio website), Mississauga ON

In the winter of 2017, I was given the opportunity to work with Arjun, a new UX designer looking for work in his field. We collaborated on Arjun's portfolio website, including several complicated project pages and a very minimalistic design. We achieved a very minimalist website that outlines his portfolio pages with large colorful images, and allows navigation through a sub-menu anchor link design that allows the reader to quickly jump through Arjun's portfolio. We really focused on the usability and the experience of the website itself, which required constant design tweaks and adjustments.

NiceByAM, Toronto ON

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I was approached by a passionate foodie from Toronto who was looking to produce his own food-focused blog where he would highlight amazing local cuisines and document some of his own culinary adventures as well. He was looking to build a blog website that was image-heavy and focused on some of his incredible food photography; he also needed a brand image to tie all of this together. What transpired was a minimalistic website characterized by large, bright imagery and a mouthwatering bright pink and pastel blue colour scheme to really bring each page to life.

Skyfall Sound, vancouver bc

In 2019 I was introduced to a pair of producers in Vancouver, BC. They were looking for a cost effective solution to put their music online and allow it to be streamed with limitations on a digital platform. They hoped to implement a membership system that allowed members to access special pricing for beat packages and licensing to use the beats in their productions. As well, Skyfall requested ecommerce functionality be built in to allow them to catalogue and sell their large collection of music. What we came up with turned out to be a modern, fast, and trendy streaming website with motion graphics and a full membership platform to give paying members exclusive perks. I built the clients a set of video tutorials to learn how to use the platform and curate music moving forward. Since, over 100 unique tracks have been added, and counting.

Nitasha Rose Asdhir (Resume Website), Toronto ON

In the winter of 2020, I had the pleasure of working with a new MSc. graduate from the Ivey Business School, Nitasha Asdhir. Nitasha was looking for a sophisticated but fun way to show off her creative and adventurous personality through a resume website. I created a one page scroller website to show off Nitasha’s travels, interests, hobbies, favourite reads, and unique skills. What transpired was a stunning website with a minimal white theme that’s decorated with bright images, and beautiful icons. We featured a full screen gallery to show off her travels, an auto play video of her favourite travel highlights, an interactive bar graph for personality data, and an earth-shaped word cloud to truly define Nitasha, based on her Myer’s Brigg’s Personality Type indicator results. Finally, the site has a downloadable resume in the navigation, as well as a detailed contact form to get in touch.

Hipster Lasers, Toronto ON

In the Fall of 2017, I had the opportunity to work with Hipster Lasers on creating a business website. Hipster Lasers does custom engraving work for a variety of occasions and was looking for a stunning full screen website to improve their brand exposure. I was tasked with conceptualizing a minamalistic, but sleek webpage to show off their portfolio of work in the most brand-relevant way. The end product turned out to be very visually stunning and even included a motion background to complement the logo on the main page.

Adith Mathew (professional services/resume), Mississauga ON

In the late Fall of 2017, I had the pleasure of working with a freelance videographer and media guru, Adith Mathew. Adith was looking for a professional, yet fun resume website, through which he could show off his portfolio of video, photo, and journalistic content. Adith needed a website that could really show off the depth of his work with gorgeous full screen photos and collage effects to enhance his portfolio. I helped Adith develop his own personal brand identity through this resume website, while also helping with content writing and photo staging. Headshots were captured by Darsh Khithani.

Note: Adith has since found a job at an incredible not-for-profit in Toronto with the help of his resume website. It has been temporarily deactivated since his employment.

NACC Canada, Brampton ON

NACC Canada is a full-service business intended to help immigration a smoother process for families and businesses. NACC is a relatively new business that focuses on brokerage, real estate, wellness, community, financing, and other services for new immigrant businesses and families. In 2017 I was approached by NACC Canada to give their organization a fresh look and feel. I was recruited to do a resume website, a new logo, and branded materials for the business.

Note: NACC’s website is temporarily offline as it is being serviced.
